I know it but I hesitate to sing it.

The confidence is off. I need to kow the number system.

The studio clock was already working against us.

Session time was tight. The track was ready. The producer wanted one last pass to lift the chorus. Someone had recommended a singer, said she was incredible. Strong voice. Great tone. A friend vouched for her.

She stepped in confident.

The producer gave a simple instruction.
“Go to the 7.”

The room got quiet.

She knew the numbers. At least on paper. But when it came time to apply it, she hesitated. She slid. She kept resolving. The chord never locked. The producer stopped the take. Tried again. Same result.

Minutes started disappearing.

Across the room was another singer. Less hype. Same opportunity. She had been coached. Not rushed. Not overwhelmed. She learned the number system and how to live in it. Exercises. Reps. One step at a time. She knew what the 7 felt like, not just where it lived.

When the producer said, “Go to the 7,” she went there instantly and parked.

Everyone felt the difference.

The first singer has experience with scales. She just hadn’t been trained to apply what she knew under pressure. And in a session like that, talent doesn’t buy time. Preparation does.

The clock kept moving.

One singer slowed the room down. The other moved the music forward.

That’s when it becomes clear. Knowing the number system matters.
But knowing how to apply it when the red light is on is everything.

If that story hit close to home, this is why the upcoming number system course for us exists.

This 3 week online class is for singers who know they’re gifted but want to apply the number system with confidence when it counts. You won’t just learn the numbers. You’ll train your ear, your muscle memory, and your response under pressure. It counts in the studio, rehearsal, on stage or with writing and arranging songs.

The cours consiit of short exercises. Real application. Live zoom coach hours and fast results.

By the end, “go to the 7” won’t slow you down.
It’ll be automatic.

If you want to move the room forward instead of holding it back, this is for you.
